This comment has nothing to do with the above, but I want to tell you that I stand corrected about the rules for dancing naked. I did review the rules and found the ATR (average true range) part. Never applied this rule with my trades. I'm going to review my previous trades and see if I was just lucky or good.

I found the historical earnings link on the Option Slam site helpful. History went back almost a year more than available to me from other sources.

What a day. Good month for getting Naked though. STO 9 differnts Naked Puts. I BTC 7 of them at a 80% of better return, 1 of them expired, and I picked up MELI at a greatly reduced price. Time to STO some covered calls.

HI Duck, you did, I did and we will. The point I was making was that eveyone has their own comfort levels to deal with. This is an excellent set-up for a naked put other than the earnings report date. SO we now have a whole month to decide if the discounted rate we could possibly own BUCY at will be worth the value of obtaining it at $55 if we have a down turn or at what profit level do we jump if it stays in or above the box. You did not miss a thing. Trade in your zone. J.R.

Besides earnings, What was missing? I would (and did) take this trade (STO). I saw that earnings was comming. My plan is to is to BTC prior to earnings if need be. Also I don't know for sure when earnings will be. The last 12 out of 14 times, it has been After Market Close. Was there something In this trade that I may have overlooked.
